Before triggering a return
PRIORITY RULE to be respected before any other: do not open your package if you are not sure of the size, color or your choice.
Why? Because a product that is still packaged is much simpler and faster to return than a product that has been unpacked.
If you have any doubts about the size, color, or any other feature, contact us before opening your package. We may have a solution to offer you without having to return the item!
In addition, some products require an adjustment period: mattresses, for example, require between 15 and 60 days of trial before a final opinion can be formed.
Detailed procedure for initiating a return
Inform BED REPUBLIC first
In all cases of return, the customer must inform BED REPUBLIC . Without this information, the return request cannot be processed.
Here is the information to provide:
- Name, surname, address, country.
- Telephone and email.
- Order number.
- Purchase date and invoice.
- Articles concerned.
- Reasons for dismissal.
- Optionally: photos, videos if necessary.
Eligibility requirements and restrictions
To ensure your return is processed quickly and efficiently, please make sure your product meets these criteria:
- It must be in its original packaging .
- It must not be damaged, stained or worn .
- All accessories, instructions and parts must be included.
- The return must be made within the time frame stipulated by our return policy.

Can I return a product after using it?
It depends on the product. Some items, such as mattresses, benefit from the 60-night trial offer, but others (bed linen, pillows, duvets, etc.) cannot be returned if they have been opened for hygiene reasons.
How do I know if my product is eligible for return?
Please see our return policy on the product page or contact our customer service. Generally, a product must be unused and in its original packaging to be returned.
Who covers the return shipping costs?
- For a return within 14 days (legal withdrawal): the costs are your responsibility .
- For the 60-night trial offer, BED REPUBLIC covers the costs.
- In case of an error on our part (incorrect product), we will cover the return shipping costs.
How should I pack my product for return?
The product must be well protected in its original packaging . Add a legible label with the return number provided by our customer service.
What should I do if my parcel is lost during the return?
We recommend using a tracking service for your package. In case of loss, keep your proof of postage and contact us to discuss possible solutions.
How soon do I have to return my product after the return has been validated?
Once your return is accepted, you generally have 14 days to ship the product. After this period, the return request may be cancelled.
